I have a project with 6 sequences. All have many stock shots and stills. Pond 5 and Getty mostly. The masters are coming up tomorrow. I'm trying to think of an expedient way to replace them. One idea is to put all sequences in a bin, change bin display to reveal master clips. Now i have all the clips in one place (stock shots are all in a variety of bins as they came at various times for various shows).
Now I can simply reimport each clip one by one. Select the clip, reimport the new master and it replaces the shot wherever used in any sequences.
But do I have to select one at a time? If I select say 20 clips to reimport, then connect one clip to the new master…will Avid find the others in the bin and reconnect? Or will it change the 20 I selected and make them all the one master clip I chose? I hope the makes sense.
Im trying to avoid having to manually connect each stock shot with its hi res master and import one at a time.
any ideas would be great.
thanks
