Re: [Avid-L2] OT: App to change field-order flag of ProRes .mov?

Thanks Bouke, that would be fantastic.
ProResHQ is the main codec I'd want to do this to (though it would also potentially be useful with mpeg2 and mp4 files too).
Cheers,

D.

David,
Forget it, I was wrong, FFmpeg does NOT do this without a transcode.
Depending on the codec used, and the app. that should interpret it, you 'might' have luck with changing the FourCC.
I can run a test for you if you like, what codec do you have?

Thanks Pat.
Unfortunately, I know very little about FFMpeg, beyond what it it is. Do you know of any good tutorials where I could learn how to get such a watch folder set up?
Cheers,

David

FFMPEG can do that. You can even create a command line that processes the files in a folder.
