[Avid-L2] Re: Resolve 12.5

 

That's not entirely correct, because it puts the focus on price. Where BMD has acquired technologies, they have breathed significant new life into the products. Resolve 12.5 is completely different than the Resolve they acquired. Same is true of the Cintel scanner and the Teranex devices. Sure price gets dropped, but these products are also reimagined. Since they have amassed a large amount of IP, it is possible for them to cross-pollinate this technology across these formerly separate brands.
