The problem is that I've already color corrected the show and I just wanted to continue the safe color limit render on my home system. But for some reason Avid is interpreting the same LUT differently on my system. I've just finally got the 10.9.5 update installed and can now load a matching 8.5.2 version. I'm hoping that will solve the issue. I understand why the rotation isn't there in 8.4.5 but the black balance was weird.
Seems very strange that different versions would interpret the same LUT differently but everything in the True 4K is just so much fun.
I found out the hard way that with LUTed material if you use background render on a safe color limit the render is completely whacked. The video gets scalled up like blowing an HD portion of the screen to full screen and the color are all posterized. Avid support has confirmed they've seen this and I've tested on the work system and with unlutted graphics background render is fine.
