How much cheaper is FCPX when you factor in you must work on a Mac to use it.  PCs are still cheaper and while iMacs are pretty reasonable in price they are still more than a comparable PC aren't they?  The software isn't that much cheaper than Premiere Pro standalone is it.  Oh wait you have to subscribe to Premiere so there's the extra cost.  I guess the cost of the iMac over PC isn't as much as the annual subscription to Premiere would be.  Does Adobe have special pricing for large install of a news room nature.

Yeah well first impressions are everything and so far I'm not impressed. I know why we went FCP X it's cheap bottom line no other reason.
