I will try that when I'm back into the project. I had to switch versions and startup drives for a different project.

In the Consolidate/Transcode dialog window, check the box "Convert to project frame rate". That may allow you to convert without the error. For couple of versions now, "Keep source's frame rate" is very unstable in our experience.
