[Avid-L2] new error message

Picking sound bites today for short clips. Playing out an interview sequence and selecting ins and out. Then when I try and play I get this error

Exception" AMPI_SESSION_CONNECT_OUTPUT_ERROR

I have to clear the source monitor and reload the interview each time. MC8.5.3 Mojo DX, Mac 10.9.5

Anyone see this before?
