Today I am making multicam groups out of footage from phone output, Sony A7R (stills camera), GoPro & and an audio recorder. There's a digital slate on some takes. Only 2 sources have timecode anyway. The files are different lengths and are stopped and started at different times. This is what the world is like nowadays & this takes HOURS/days to deal with.
When we finally get automatic multi-group making by audio waveform, will we also be able to edit the groups afterwards (i.e. slip sync)?
These things can't come soon enough.
