On a slightly tangential thread I just moved to the uk - the allure of aging parents and desire to own a classic jag made me.. But that meant having to buy a tv license. You can still buy a color or black and white license but no hd or uhd premium is applied. I splashed out and bought colour so I'm future proof.

Omg two incompatible HDR formats? Comon! Does the FCC regulate anything anymore? Well I need a tv now so I may very well by a dirt cheap 1080 tv to hold me down till all the dust settles on this HDR format war. Thanks guys for the heads up.
