Are you kidding me??? I've learned to expect this with Title Tool but there is no excuse for this to happen on something that is supposed to be the upgrade to the Title Tool. As always I hate Fonts but that is a big steaming pile of Doo Doo. Is it the case that fonts that work in title tool don't work in New Blue? So glad Avid is outsourcing/3rd partying core functions of the Avid software. ;-(

Yes - I tested it. In Effects workspace, select Avid title so it is highlighted. Choose Promote . . . from Tools menu (MC 8.5.1). Worked here but of course NewBlue does not work with many fonts so my font was converted to look like Arial!
