Re: [Avid-L2] Dumb Question About Deleting Precomputes

I think it started with version 8.5, but MC Media Tool can now show rendered effects or mattes/titles precomputes.

You can find the ones you want to keep by changing the bin view of your sequences.

I think there is also a way just to select the sequences, then show media relatives, then reverse selection and delete.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Dumb Question About Deleting Precomputes

Let's say I've got a project clogged with render files, and I just want to get rid of nearly all of them (save the most recent). So I go into Media Tool and call up all the precomputes. But it looks like there's also files that appear to be alphas created on the import of layered Photoshop files — which I need to keep.

So the question is, is there an easy way to sort out just the renders I want to get rid of, while leaving the alphas, etc. untouched?

Thanks,

DD
