Re: [Avid-L2] AMA link to Canon C300 MXF

 

I think the best (from the customer's point of view) solution depends on
whether or not Avid tests and verifies the plugins. If they do test
them, then whoever does the testing could just drop them in a folder of
verified plugins on the Avid website. That would not prevent
manufacturers from providing their own downloads of plugins from their
own sites, as they do now. --J.B.

What would work best is if the vendor would provide a address to link to that would always forward to the latest plug-in, but… well… that would make sense.
