Had a visit from some Blackmagic folks yesterday asking about what we needed in Resolve for editing. We went down our list of pain points from our testing and with each item they would say "that's in 12.5."
Wow, nice to have a company really responding to the user demands in timely fashion. I really feel the commitment from Blackmagic to making their product the industry standard.
I know there are committed folks working at Avid also, but they don't get the resources necessary to pull off what Blackmagic is doing. Maybe we will finally get away from only using NLEs companies that start with the letter "A."
