Sorry for the OT ladies and gents,
So my Plasma burned out and now I have to get a new TV. After looking at 55 inch 1080 panels and 4K panels I've come to an interesting quandary.
I've discovered in the 1080 LED's I can see the pixel grid vs. the 4K LED sets having a finer pixel grid. After looking at 1080 and 4K
sets side by side, I drove the salesman mad needing to turn off all the processed image settings, I prefer the 4K panels even on 1080p material.
The Samsung's, Sony's and LG's seem to have excellent up scaling. Any thoughts on this and have others noticed this? I honestly could careless
about 4K material although Best Buy does now carry 4K Blu-Rays or whatever they are called. So atleast that offers a little 4K material, not too badly compressed, worth
purchasing if a movie I care about is re-mastered for it. The Martian in 4K would be sweet to have.
