Re: Re: [Avid-L2] More "restructuring"

What we do know is that Avid has burnt a lot of cash, is doing yet another RIF, while the CEO makes a lot more money than CEO's at other companies (if you relate it to market cap and/or revenue).

The CEO of Autodesk makes 8.3 mln, which is 0.06% of Autodesk's Market Cap and 0.33% of Autodesks 2014 revenue.
The CEO of Adobe makes 18 mln, which is 0.05% of Adobe's Market Cap and 0.43% of Adobe's 2014 revenue.
The CEO of Avid makes 6.5 mln, which is 1% of Avid's Market Cap and 5% of Avid's 2014 revenue.

Avid's market cap is around 650 mln. CEO's of other companies that have a similar market cap make between 2 and 3 mln. Not 6.5 mln.

I'm in no way an expert, but these numbers make me wonder if the CEO's salary makes sense, also considering how it seems to be doing.
