Yes, it would be very nice if Media Composer would create New Bins inside the folder you have selected in the Media Composer Project window. But, since that isn't how it works, the way I do it is….
In the Media Composer Project window I create all the bins I need.
Switch to Finder.
At Finder level I create all the Folders I need.
Rename the folders as needed.
Drag the Bins into the folders as needed.
As a note, I also have an app called A Better Finder Rename that is great and renaming large sets of files and or folders if there is a simple order to the naming. Like all the folders are sequential and then the bins names are based on the folder name.
