I'm not an expert, but from what I've been able to investigate the tricky part is to do the stitching and alignment of all the cameras. You'll end with a big flat canvas with the 360° in it, you could create a custom raster project in MC, edit and export. The other tricky page it's too embed the VR metadata to the Resulting h264 so the player (youtube?) can create the sphere.
HI
I got a call from a shooter asking about taking on a 360 VR editing job. Im just starting to research what is needed but thought I'd put it out to the masses and see if any of you guys have done this. It seems you need software other than avid. This project is a 9 camera immersive video. Can email me off list if you have any experience with this.
thanks
