Re: [Avid-L2] Flakey-ish.

 

This is a very strange document.  In the opening paragraph it states stay away from El Capitan, and then goes on to tell you Media Comnposer and other Avid software now support it.  WTF?  Is this a document they just continually update below as software is qualified for El Capitan, but they neglect to change the opener?

The read me for MC 8.5 states El Capitan is supported.  Do they typically declare and OS is "supported" but then state it is not "qualified"?

Anyhow...El Capitan seems to fix many under the hood bugs in Yosemite, which never ran well on my Mac.  It was a downgrade in stability from Mavericks.  El Capitan seems to right the ship for me.  YMMV.
