Curious we were able to ama link and transcode AVC-Intra a week ago on our newly updated 8.5.1 mac systems. Perhaps they downloaded this plug in last week or the previous version we had for P2 worked for us.

Panasonic has released a new plug-in v4.6 ( Mac and Win) for use with Media Composer 8.5.x.
Users can get direct access to and full native support of P2 media and metadata. Free for basic Import clips such as AVC-Intra (Including 4k) and DV to DVCPRO HD. (This function is immediately available after installing Plug-in). There is a free trial for 30 days regarding AJ-PS001G - PS004G. (These function must be enabled after installing Plug-in).
