One of the huge advantages to Symphony is the source side color correction. That means you can apply a correction to a shot in the timeline and have that same correction happen throughout the timeline anywhere else that shot is used, or any other shot from that master clip, or any other shot from that source clip name if you choose.


When you go to MC with that sequence, all those corrections are turned into the color correction effect that exists in MC and you no longer have that source side relational adjustment capability.
