Re: [Avid-L2] Remote video collaboration w/ client

no.  Avid Everywhere is supposed to be like working in an ISIS shared storage environment, but with people off site.

What I think the OP is looking for is that when A loads a clip into their source monitor that same clips gets loaded into the source monitor on system B.  Then if B hits play the clip plays on both systems.  Then when one of them hits stop they both stop.  Etc.  Which would be more like CineSync for editing.  Which would be cool.

Subject: [Avid-L2] Remote video collaboration w/ client

I am an Avid editor with a dual monitor setup working on a MacBookPro. My client also has an Avid (PC) with the same project bins and footage. He wants to be able to collaborate with me in real time, mostly helping to locate footage and identify shots, since he is more familiar with the footage.
What is the best way to do this? Ideally, he would like to see roughcuts of sections of the video in RT as well.
Thanks in advance,
