Looking to upgrade my work computer for better Resolve work. It's a mid 2010 MacPro upgraded to 12 core 3.33GHz and 24 GB or ram. I have to run OS 10.8.5. The guide for the mid 2012 MacPro from Black Magic was suggested by their tech support. It only lists the GTX-680 which is what we have on one computer. According to MacVidCards the GTX-780 with 6GB of Vram will run in OS 10.8.5. It seems to me that would perform better with Resolve. I'm waiting to hear back from Black Magic on this but I'm curious if anyone knows from personal experience if the GTX-780 will out perform the GTX-680 running Resolve and Adobe CC?
