Yes, you need the updater file. You get that by going to your Avid master account page. Under "My Products and Subscriptions" you go to the actual product you want, at the bottom of the individual product you will see "Product Details and Download Links Show
Click on "show" and it it will expand out the page and you will see the option to "Download Dongle Updater File" and clicking on that should give you a dialog box asking for your dongle ID number and then it creates an updater file for you to download.That said, I had trouble with some of mine that Marianna had to intervene to get fixed.On Jan 1, 2016, at 10:50 AM, paulsulsky@...
