I’d quite like to hear some real world experience of how the plugin compares to the real thing. We do HD TV so we aren’t worried about 4K or debayering etc. Really just straightforward grades from prores or XDCAM footage.
How would a colourist find working on the plugin version…. What are the drawbacks? It seems like the end result should be the same but would it be more painful or slower to get there. Would clients notice?
Anyone have both and have experience of both.
