More specifically, you want to make sure that when you go to the Media Tool you select JUST the project or projects where you want to delete the precomputes. Make sure you ONLY have precomputes selected and not media or master clips. That would be bad.
With the drives, projects and precomputes selected, it will basically create a bin of those files and you can choose to delete all or part of the selected files. You could go by date or project name or just about anything.
