I thought there was some improvement to the panel's response when Ver. 7 came out. I say that from what I've read but not from my experience. Sadly I'm so in tune with my expert mouse I haven't forced myself into using the Artist Panel. Are there any panel users that can confirm or deny that at Ver. 7 or so there was improvement to the jumpy granular behavior of the track balls etc... on the Artist Panel with Avid?
