[Avid-L2] Re: Timecode Burn-In Won't Point to Source File Column - Help!

Can you duplicate the source file column data into another empty or unused column that can be displayed in the time code effect?  You should be able to duplicate the source file column data into the clip name column that you say you can display.  Perhaps you could first duplicate the clip name data into a comments column so you don't lose that info and then duplicate the source file into the clip name column overwriting the Scene and Take names that have been added.

You could also copy and paste the source file data onto the end of the existing clip names thereby keeping both pieces of info available.  Not sure how many characters you can have in the time code effect so I'd check that before trying this last approach.

I'd also bet that one of our more spreadsheet savvy L2ers might have an ALE route that might automate switching the data or appending extra data in the columns but that's not something I've worked with other than playing around.
