[Avid-L2] Re: Anybody have the Symphony CC documentation?

Sounds like color merging or is this something else.  You put the sequence with the color correction you want to merge in the source monitor.  Put the target sequence in record monitor.  Open color corrector and right click and choose merge.  From there you can choose the type of correction to merge.  Later V 8 even offer source segment merging.  Start with that then do a merge with master clip and finally src clip name.  That's how I do it.  Your choices may differ depending on the types of relational correction you use.  HTH

P.S.  There are also choices of whether to prefer record sequence, source sequence or latest IIRC

Seriously. All I want is the darn Symphony CC Guide.

More specifically, I want to get the section about how to update sequences with modified color corrections. If one person continues to edit while another begins to grade, there is way to have that updated editing information link to the original color corrections. I only do it once in a blue moon, so I haven't memorized it.

I know I have one around some place, but this is the thing Avid should WANT to circulate. WHY WHY WHY is their search so COMPLETELY AWFUL?

Each iteration of their web design takes search to new levels of horrible.

Hiring a web company do web design out of their basement may be a problem.
