Editrace is now called ediload apparently that's what being used on this show - not that it's affected me doing vfx :)

So no one thinks Avid could have jumped on this, as a the industry leader in our area? 
I mean, tools like Virtual Katy and Conformalizer, to name just two, were they so insanely revolutionary that Avid could not have developed them? 

It shows how little interest Avid has in what consider to be 'my' segment of the industry.

they bring in the new AAF, compare to their own tracks, and slip/slide/snap their segments to match what's missing. Most often, actual communication happens too, where the editor will "say" what's different, so the mixer isn't out in the cold.
