Version 7 still has script sync, but it has a different type of serial number. Fortunately, you will be able to use a 30 demo of that version of script sync/phrase find, until Avid gives you a new formatted code.
(keep in mind I use dongles rather than software activation, so your milage may vary)

I am editing an Avid project at home for the first time in years and need to work in Version 7 on my Mac Pro. A drive with a project and media is being brought to me set up for that.I have two computers both on Snow Leopard. The old IMac has a functioning Avid MC 5.5 with Scriptsync and Phrase Find. I migrated the software to the MacPro, but I can't open it there because I can't get the installers anymore. (I can deactivate or activate Avid on the IMac, but I can't activate Avid on the MacPro.)Is it possible to get the 5.5 upgraded to version 7 on the 30 day trail while still on the iMac, preserving ScriptSync and Phase Find? And then can I deactivate and uninstall Avid from the iMac and install and activate it on my MacPro? Are installers are available for version 7?I saw a place to still get Version 7 online, but I may need help finding it again.Thank you so much!!
