Hi,
I updated to Avid 8.4.1 and then to 8.4.2 - and I am unable to import anything. When I click on import it says "*There are no media drives available. You will only be able to import shot logs". *

I was able to work around this in the past, as I could drag and drop - but that's no ideal, when trying to import b-roll footage, and every time I've tried that, it has crashed my system, and "linking" doesn't seem to work either.
I'd love to be able to work on my project .. but seem to be held up. Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
All disk permissions are read/write for everything … .
Thanks!
Aimie
