So where does the tone media get saved successfully? (select the tone in your bin, 'reveal file' from file menu.)
I don't remember from the start of the thread... Is it only import that is broken? Can you AMA and transcode to your 'George' disk, for instance? If so, that would seem to eliminate permissions issues.
