It STALLS regularly - more accurately periodically, but, unfortunately, reliably - Almost always when loading the source monitor, particularly when using the 'match' function. This doesn't seem to be happening with other projects, and doesn't seem to be specific to the edit bay. Any idea why this might be happening? Anyone seen this behavior before?
(I originally thought it was a quicktime plug-in that shows as stalled in the activity monitor, but I now think that's probably coincidental and unrelated.)
It's making me insane (more insane, I suppose) as the time between crashes is JUST enough to get my head 'back in the game' and forget to force save every other edit!
I initially thought this was unique to my machine, but I just moved to another bay and started experiencing the exact same problem. I've also tried moving the timeline to another project, but that doesn't solve the problem since all the source material comes from the larger project.
Any and all ideas welcome!!
