I'm starting to think Quicktime OPServer is not what is hanging my computer, it's just coincidental. I was using one of the other bays in house and had the activity monitor up. Quicktime OPServer is constantly starting, not responding and disappearing - even on a project with no AMA and, literally, only one piece of MXF media. BUT that system does not hang. So, it's something else. I still don't know what Quicktime OPServer is, or why it's running needlessly, but I no longer am convinced that's what's stalling my system. Ahrg.

There's something called 'QT OPServer' (not responding) in the activity monitor - which is the only thing I can find that would explain the random stall. The project I'm currently working in has NO AMA'd material, and yet,
