My take (based on my own use, and that of the audio cats I hang with): Soundminer's still good and fast. Probably king of the hill for audio post. Probably what you want.

But some good and picky folks are using Basehead. However, these are people working solo or in a small facility. Mac, PC, and server versions avail. Fast. Demo versions available. Accessible developers. If you have questions, drop them a line; they'll probably respond within a day.
