I did transcoding a while back on my Avid 8.3.1 with ama linking to F-55 4K media. Today I was able to link back to the original ama with the offline sequence. I notice a green dot on all the clips. I tried refreshing the sequence but I figure it's because I'm in an HD project and the media is 4K. I was surprised when I went to make a video mixdown I got an error about some media is in the wrong format. I put a submaster over the footage and rendered it. That then let me make a video mixdown.
I haven't dealt much with going back to original 4K media. Is it the frame flex that is creating the green dot and is it typical not to be able to video mixdown when ama linked back to 4K material?
