As far as I knowInstall Media Composer on as many computers as you want for location convenience. however if node locked you can only use 1 at a time. You must deactivate the use on one computer before you can begin use on another. If you do not have a license that is based on volume or site this is how it works. 2 computers=2 licenses.I think that is it.On Fri, Aug 21, 2015 at 3:00 PM, Rupert Watson rupert@root6.com [Avid-L2] <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com> wrote:

Right. But to be clear, I want to be able to work on both computers at the same time. In other words, while I'm cutting on system, the other computer is doing a transcode. And I can't do a transcode in the background of the project I'm working on, because these are two completely different projects.
So I have my subscription MC installed on two computers, but can only work in one at a time…? Is that the way it is?

You should be able to register an uninstall on one computer and reinstall on another. I think as long as you register the uninstall. We were doing this for a while switching between Mac and PC.
