I take it back! I was misreading the clip information between the sequence and the bin. The subclips I was working with in the sequence are in fact from different master clips. All is working as expected. My error! Thanks.

In one of our XDCAM workflows, the producer uses the Sony software to the review the proxies and construct a rough cut. He then sends an AAF file for the editor to load in MC and relink to the source material. The resulting sequence comprises only subclips.Note: In this case I'm relinking the master clips in the AAF bin to the online media. This preserves the subclip names the producer has created. I know I can directly relink the sequence back to the master clips, but then I would lose the subclip names.
I'm working on Symph 8.4, and I noticed that when I apply a "Master Clip" correction, it only applies to the current subclip, and not relationally to the other subclips in the sequence which come from the same master clip. Is this expected behavior? If so, is there a workaround so that I can use the power of relational correction in a sequence with subclips? TIA!
