No clue if Avid can handle this, but did you check what columns are available in your bin view?
The data is available in the XMLs that go with the files, and it's quite easy to extract that.
But who on earth would put a card from camA into camB? If that happens, i would think you have bigger issues with the shooting crew....

I regularly work on multicam projects with XDCAM footage shot in the field on PMW-200s. Sometimes TC is jam-synced; sometimes it's not. Sometimes the SxS cards get swapped between cameras and I get multiple cameras on a single card. The situation differs from production to production.
My question is this: Is it possible to pull the following metadata from XDCAM material in MC: Record date, Record Time-of-day, Camera serial number. These bits of info would make my life a lot easier when data wrangling and timecode juggling between heaps of clips.
