The footage appears to link but shows up as Wrong Format appears. Does anyone have a solution. Is there an AMA plug-in I can't locate or a driver that is hiding somewhere. I have installed the Panasonic AMA plugin that doesn't seem to work.
The Panasonic AMA plug-in is looking for MXF files in a P2 folder structure.
The GH4 is a DSLR, and shoots .MTS (AVCHD) or .MP4 files.
This sounds very similar to the Wrong Format problem that I was having with the Sony A7s in November.
If you are on a Mac, try EditReady:

You might be able to get away with just a re-wrap to MOV...though I have not done this with 4K footage, only 1080p.
If you have Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 or newer, I have found that able to transcode these newer MP4 files as well.
