As I think about it, I'm pretty sure that 8K x 8K image size restriction was for Moving Pictures anyway, not Avid's pan & zoom.

What is the trick to making Pan and Zoom see the picture? Im cutting at another house and I only have Pan and Zoom to work with. As a die hard Moving Picture user I never ever ever use Pan and Zoom. But its all I have. So I drop effect on the clip, select display source, go to import image and find original and select. But all stays black. Is it limited to file formats? File sizes? File names? I changed from tiff to jpeg but no difference.
WTH???
