I add:

I'm late to this party, but I have to add that Bobby Ellerbee is a friend of mine and he does rent his cameras for productions such as yours.  He recently accompanied at least one of his cameras to Atlanta for the season premiere episode shoot of 'Halt and Catch Fire' airing on AMC.  He has couple of fully-functional Sony cameras from the early 1990's.  He also has tons of other cameras from all eras that probably will be exactly what you're looking for.

Hi, David- Try Bobby Ellerbee's site, Eyes Of A Generation...he has a massive vintage camera collection and links to others with collections here: Television cameras were the Eyes Of A Generation; this is Television history the way they saw it The Facebook page is pretty cool too if you are into vintage TV : Eyes Of A Generation.com
