This tutorial has a special step (25) where before a relink, clean the bin memory. I discovered from testing and retesting that when relinking a sequence to master clips, that clearing the bin memory before using the relink command can make the difference from a relink working or not. Clear Bin Memory is exactly like quitting the Avid and then relaunching holding down a key to make all of the bins closed upon opening the Avid. So this step alone is a time savor and can sometimes make the critical difference from the Avid Media Composer performing the relink command or not. I would love to know if this is helpful information?
