[Avid-L2] Re: Where do I find an Avid Support Code and submit a bug?

I did call and it's been logged.  Thanks.  What I didn't know was when I got to the support portal I had to click on the "Cases" tab in order to get to the page where I can submit a new case.  I am but a simple Barber, as Steve Martin use to play on SNL, when I click to go to the service portal I expected to see the link to submit a case right on that page.  It wasn't until I looked closer at some of the headings that turn out to be links did I see "Cases."  This is all after I made a call and was handled very quickly by Beatrice.

Here's a suggestion.  I would find it more intuitive if on the page for "Contact Support" besides the toll free numbers and a link to the service portal if there was a very obvious link for "Submit A New Case: right on that page I probably would have seen it sooner.  After all if I'm trying to contact support it's likely I'm trying to submit a case online or if I want I can use the phone numbers.

Love you John but you drive me CRAZY.....  you know the answer to this......

ASC are Avid Service Codes which one is provided when you buy the MC or you can buy them individually on the store.  BUT... you don't need to do that as you have a support contract so...

1> Call in and enter your system ID ( you get one call a month)
2> Enter a case through the support portal which is within your Master account
3> send me an email and I will enter the case as long as you provide all the necessary info like spec's and steps to make it happen.
