The green dot is telling you that you don't need to use Resolve stay in Symphony. I just did an aaf to Resolve 9 last week coming from Avid 8.3.1. The clips had LUTs and Resolve still linked but it did warn me that there was some effect on the clips that would be ignored.
Did you refresh the actual sequence after you deleted the LUTs in the source bin? If you don't refresh the sequence clips will still think they have a LUT if that's what is causing the problems.
