Prior to MC v6, the only method to export a ProRes QT Codec was to have an Apple Pro App installed or set the computer up as a QMaster node.
QT Pro isn't the issue. As Philip points out, it only enables features in QT Player.
Is ProRes an option in the Media Creation settings? Mixdown the video and export a Same as Source QT.
This isn't available on a Windows based Computer.
