Looking at the Activity Monitor on MacProi 12 core 2.93 GHz running Avid SNDX Ver. 6.5.X. Doing a video mixdown in a 23.976 HD project to DNX 175 I notice the Avid symphony in Activity Monitor is hovering around 102% CPU. I would have expected this to be showing much more % using multiple cores. It is a sequence that is already rendered with a safe color limiter so maybe there really isn't much CPU processing needed. It's mostly just creating new media from the already rendered safe color limit effect. Does this make sense. I thought I'd seen at least 200% and better on my home system but perhaps that was doing a lot of rendering at the time.
