From the "Release" post on the Avid forum, MC 8.4 is supported with OSX 10.8.5. I had not noticed that the ReadMe says otherwise.
Anyone from Avid could clarify that?
We love 10.8.5 because it's the last so that let's you do a quickview (select a file in finder and hit the space bar to see a preview of that file) on any type of QuickTime files. From 10.9 up, only h264 and prores have this privilege.
