[Avid-L2] ISIS replacement drive

I just got quoted $900 for "ISIS 5000 1TB cold spare drive in carrier". That's a ridiculous price.
Is that common pricing for these drives? I wasn't expecting $79, but I wasn't expecting $900 either.
I know about cost of business, professional grade, a fraction of what we paid for the system, my media depends on it... etc...
But what's the justification for a 1Tb drive costing $900? I can't believe the carrier is the cause for it. Actually, I should be able to reuse the carrier of the drive I'm replacing, right?
