Subject: [Avid-L2] Sub Cap file import

I'm trying to import a file into the Sub Cap effect. The client's video is on YouTube, which generated caption files as srt, sbv and vtt formats.  I can't find a way to convert these to a useable stl file.
I have an older version of Belle Nuit Subtitler trial. It exports an stl file.  The Sub Cap import recognizes the a caption exists, but the times do not match my sequence time code, even though they both start at 00:00, so I get nothing out of that file.

Any suggestions for getting these YouTube caption files into Sub Cap?

Thanks.
